In addition to these honors, Carmen's work has been featured in numerous trade publications and television.
In 2005, Carmen designed and produced the family friendly Balloon-a-Palooza, the largest annual balloon art exhibit in the country. Santa's balloon wonderland at the Historical Mitchell Domes in Milwaukee drew more than 9,000 people in five days. About 36,000 balloons were used to build sculptures that were displayed all over the lobby.
After receiving offers to teach around the country, this year Carmen accepted to be an instructor at educational seminars for professional balloon artist around the country.
